About lost in Africa
Lost in Africa Conservation Initiatives was founded in 2011 and initially the main objective was to promote young scientist to explore and utilize opportunities while supporting conservation, by throwing themselves in their field of expertise to build their ability and competence in conservation field. Lost in Africa organized field safari's in different protected areas by inviting voluntarily conservation biologist and conservationist to assist in field seminars and lectures.


Lost in Africa means lost in wilderness of Africa full of dangerous animals, thick forest, hot plain desert to the sensitive kindly and friendly environment of Africa.
Lost in Africa Conservation Initiatives is founded by young scientist from Sokoine University of Agriculture; Lasima Nzao, with support from Minja Honest A. and Iddi Fadhili M., BSc in wildlife management 2011 from Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA-Tanzania) interested in management and conservation of African Natural Resource through different integretory approach; community conservation approaches, changing android technology,  Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and skills, conservation management, education extension, habitat restoration, researches and urban ecology in building sustainable  resource use and conservation.



The aim of lost in Africa; 
       
·         Raise awareness in conservation
·         To support and conduct in-situ conservation activities in partnership with conservation agencies.
·         To conduct and support researches concerning African natural resources and local communities.
·         To promote and support community conservation and management practice.
·         To adopt and promote new conservation methods, techniques and technology-local and international.

other activities includes;
·         Hosting volunteers for conservation activities.
·         Promote Eco-tourism and Wildlife-based tourism-easiest link to the nearest destination.   
·         To facilitate undergraduate research seminars provide easiest link to the nearest destination.

Lost in Africa is a growing conservation movement in Tanzania which need your support to reach and archive its goals for the sustainability of future natural resources.
